Install Flixtor from the browser

A supported browser can offer Install App or Add to Home Screen. That places the responsive Flixtor catalog and My List behind an icon. It does not convert the local list into a cloud account or grant rights to download a movie.

Evaluate app-store listings separately

An app using the Flixtor name may have an independent publisher, privacy policy, feature set, and support route. Check developer identity, package or bundle identifier, permissions, update history, reviews, data practices, and the linked website. A familiar logo is only artwork.

Distinguish an APK from an app experience

APK is an Android package format. Before sideloading, verify origin, publisher, package name, signature, scan, permissions, update route, and uninstall plan. The browser route avoids granting a separate unknown package access to the device.

Downloads belong to the provider

When a provider offers offline viewing, use its official app and account flow. Confirm country, title, plan, device limit, expiry, storage, and whether subtitles and audio tracks remain available offline. My Lists is a planning tool, not downloaded media.

Choose the safest minimal path

For search and queue management, the current browser is enough. Use a provider application only when it adds a needed playback, casting, or offline capability. Avoid downloader extensions and “codec” utilities that request broad permissions unrelated to catalog browsing.
